Saw this after you liked my shadow houndour picture and thought I'd fav here since I'm also excited for sirfetch'd. I don't think farfetch'd needed an evo to make them viable (wanted to use one in gen 7 but never got around to it; still up to it though even without the ability to evolve) but it''s awesome this beta 'mon was reworked into a reality.

Ahh, I really feel like Farfetch'd deserved so much more for so long. Especially when it was planned to get an evolution in generation 2 (Madame) that was later scrapped. That crazy leak that happened way back in May that got everything right thus far has mentioned Sirfetch'd by name, and I was so ecstatic. My brother, Farfetch'd's biggest fan practically, didn't want to get his hopes up. Lo and behold, that reveal finally came to us. Banjo and Kazooie in Smash, Farfetch'd gets an evolution -- this year is just amazing, I'm really at a loss for words beyond this point. It's crazy!

There were a lot of cool things in that beta 'mon leak. I honestly love the beta versions of the hoppip line more. I will say they went overboard with creating babies though. Granted that was the new thing but they just went crazy. I mean humanoid ones like the hitmons and jynx made sense because it would be weird to hatch a full grown adult looking pokΓ©mon (although prior to GO fixing the way eggs were handled I hatched a full grown hitmonchan lol), but a lot (including pikachu imo) I dont' feel needed one. I do wish we got the baby vulpix since it relates to how they say vulpix grows into more tails. I do think beta farfetch'd evo was more of what you'd expect from an evolution compared to what we're getting BUT I still like sirfetch'd and want to use them eventually (I hope I can trade for a shiny farfetch'd in GO to trade into the game when I eventually do get it; big supporter of #BringBack (The)NationalDex).
Yea that leak hasn't been wrong yet, but I do question the mentions regarding meowth. I feel like those could not come to be and were things snuck in that either will not make final cut or thrown in by either leaker or GameFreak to discredit the rumor (like I believe a lot of USuMo's unique stuff was leaked but there was also something thrown in about there being a regional varient for the bellossom line or something iirc).
