Description
The Dubois family has been forced to separate due to the looming war and Nicolette finds herself in an unfamiliar place surrounded by strangers who aren't very keen on outsiders.
She must hide her status as a noble under the approaching threat of death.
With no friends, family or even her true identity, she must navigate this unknown and at times downright hostile place and make a life for herself.
But even among isolation and hostility, love can be found.

Hooray!! After an almost 3 month wait we're back! I am currently hard at work on more pages cause I like to have a few done at a time so I appreciate your patience while I'm getting things in order ^^
I'm SUPER excited for this chapter cause we get to see how Nicolette came to be where she is, how she met Clovis and all that good stuff.
And let me tell you...She had a very rough start. Come to think of it she had a rough ending too...Huh.
It's hard to shake Nicolette's confidence but trying to find her place among people who just considered her an outsider really shook it badly.

But I hope you guys are excited!
