Description
After about 4 days, this monster of a piece is done! And I mean monster because holy moley this took me a long time and it's a very large file with a lot of layers @_@ But I'm glad I got it done~
I'm still so into doing reflections so I decided to step it up a notch and do a different perspective. And I did use a reference for this but I had to figure out a lot on my own so that was interesting... 
And I decided to draw Caterina and her daughter who's name I decided is Sophia~ Maybe this takes place either before or after this drawing
So yeah, I hope you guys like this and I'd love to know what you think~

Oh yeah! My friend and I did a trade recently and she did this beautiful picture of Caterina for me and it inspired me to have a little spider hanging out on her parasol XD

Hehehe, funny how often you draw Caterina given how little we see of her in the comic. Sometimes though, it's characters with brief appearances that leave some of the biggest impressions. And Lillianna certainly had an impression left on her to say the least.

I remember being told you were doing this one but, still seeing it drawn out is beautiful and its so, nice to see the little girl and what could have been had she lived. She was a beautiful little thing like her mama and I know Cat would have taken great care of her...<3 Again im a sucker for water reflection and I love alternative universes~. This came out beautiful and the spider was a nice touch~ That a hint that Lillianna watching from a distances~...? *wink*

I'm just done with watching the speedpaint, which funny enough I saw before the drawing was up on dA, so this was a nice little sneak peek. xD
I find this drawing really cute. I'm not really a fan of these alternative universes thing, but I can help it, I love thinking about what would have been with my stories too. Like, I'm thinking a lot about what if Eliza didn't die in the revolution. Or what if Yaro never lost his memories (that one was once an entire bonus story that's kind of responsible for Corin's story).
Anyway, I love your water and glow effects - they're really nice looking and vibrant. Good job!
And it's another drawing of a more happy Caterina. I actually thought that you've drawn her a lot already, but when we did the trade, I noticed that there were only a few artworks of her. o-o Speaking of, many thanks for the shout out, I'm glad that I was able to inspire you. >-< Looks like Caterina is still besties with the spider, in fact, it looks like her spider friend is watching over her. Which makes a lot of sense, considering what it represents.

Yeah, it popped up in my subscription box, so I checked on dA first, but it wasn't up there yet, so I watched the video.
Well, it's fine to just think about it a bit. It gets problematic when it has an affect on the story. You know, like when authors bring back their characters from dead or have characters time travel or create a complete alternative universe story. It feels cheap and it can get confusing, like when there's an alternative timeline, which is the "real" and official story path, the "true ending"? Also it takes the meaning and consequences of death.
But of course, I still like your artwork. It's not ruining the story, it's just a sweet thought, maybe even one that's a bit bitter, because you know what actually happened in the story...
Well, the rocks might already show that it's a puddle. Maybe you could have made a border of the puddle in one of the top corners? Combined with lowering the opacity on this border to show that the water isn't deep there? I can't really remember drawing puddles before so I'm not sure.

Yeah that's very true...Like, as a side thing, sure, why not? But yeah, when it affects the entire flow of the entire story...That's an issue for sure. Ugh...I'm glad we agree on the whole death thing. >.< Death is a really serious thing and to just bring them back to life even once really diminishes what death really is.

Yeah that's certainly something I could have done for sure. I was even considering making stones all along the drawing to show that it was a puddle but decided not to. I probably should have lol.
