So, I wanted to kind of figure out how to draw.
These are just a bunch of character sketches of Maerad and Cadvan from the Pellinor series. I drew these while I was reading The Singing, which I just finished.There aren't any spoilers in here, don't worry. It's just a bunch of random things, although I think the scene at the bottom of Cadvan and Maerad is from The Singing, although it could really just be generic. Yeah.
I love some of these and hate some, but I'm just trying to figure out how I imagine them. So. Also, I think I sneaked one Arkan in there. 'Cause he's awesome.

I love your drawings. They're really cute to look at. I have to say that the middle picture of Cadvan is my favorite, 'cuz that's always similar to the way I imagine his sarcastic face from the books.

The Singing was very good, a bit predictable maybe, but there was Maerad/Cadvan, so I was happy. And Hem once again proved how COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY AWESOME he is.

haha well yes, but if it had all gone horribly wrong I'd have probably screamed a string of curses at the book, thrown it against the wall before apologising to it and hugging it. so you see, the fact it was predictable is probably good for my health xD mental, that is.
And Yes, though I miss Zelika >.< But SALIMANNNNNNNN pwns xD and his story is so sweet.
AND Maerad/Cadvan... well of course. I demand it xD

OMG, I was freaking out halfway through when Saliman got the White Sickness. And then I was just like, "DUDE HEM IS SO AWESOME!" I don't know if I ever jumped on the Saliman/Hekibel wagon, although I probably just needed more time to warm up to it.
Maerad fighting the Landrost was probably my favorite part, just because I love Arkan, and all the Cadvan/Maerad stuff. Especially in like the last chapter. When she just collapses and he starts kissing her. And I'm just like, "IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!!!" XD

Finding how you visualise a character is the most time consuming part, and although I've never read the series (what's it about?) they are looking good. Love the central guy's expression. ^ ^;

They're basically epic high fantasy. The basic premise is fairly generic: girl is the Chosen One who has to eradicate evil from the world, but there's a lot of really interesting twists to them.
