Description
Meet William's parents, Francine and Gerald Carter! While they're minor characters, they play a very important role in how William grows up. These guys are probably the definition of a power couple. While each of them are more than capable of defending themselves on their own, they work the best together. Francine, being headstrong and brash, mixes well with Gerald, who is calculating and reserved. They look like they're shady people, but they raised William well and loved him dearly.I had a BLAST designing these two and have been dying to introduce them! I thought it would be nice to have Gerald be shorter than Francine since you don't see that much. He looks tough but Francine's the boss here, even though his little blush marks give him away a little bit. I tried to make them look unique on their own while still resembling both William and his daughters. I'd love to see what you guys think!

Is it weird to say that I'm actually surprised that these two are William's parents? |D He looks nothing like either of them. But, hey, they really do have unique designs. Actually, I'm quite surprised with how fancy they look! Almost like upper-class nobles... William never took me for a guy who came from a family of uppity socialites. Then again.... when you run a whore-house, you make all kinds of money (Modern AU pimp-Carters *SHOT*). But, hey, it's really nice to see someone else with the idea for parent(s) who run a brothel ^u^ (In the FMA Universe). Bet Linda and Madame Christmas would've gotten along pretty well ^u^ Other than that, guess you can't judge a book by it's cover. Wonder if that's the reason why William decided to be gay... He was so desensitized to women-- *SHOT HARD*
Okay, jokes aside... Like I said, they're designs are really unique, and one could never tell that they're William's parents. xD And I like the idea for Gerald being shorter (Even with Francine's heels on).

Hahaha yeah I can see why you think that, I wanted to make it less blatantly obvious that they were his parents I guess. 
The concept really intrigues me, too! I was excited to really explore the options they could have in terms of their story, and I think their story is pretty unique now so I really can't complain.
Linda and Madame Christmas? o3o huh I never really thought about them together, but I guess they would get along well. I can see that. ^_^
I like the idea of having Gerald being shorter too, it's something you don't see much in couples. <:

But, yeah, that is a great concept to have, and you did pretty good with it ^^

of course!! it's so much fun to try "out there" design ideas and then fall in love with them. Alonzo was definitely that for me (at least now I'm validated in his nose design because of the lovely house of Kharlan TvT) I hope you're able to draw them together as a family sometime :'DDD
