A plant in my backyard, in winter it's new born leaves come out bright red, making them look like giant flowers on an otherwise baren tree. I thought it looked amazing against the clear winter sky, like frizby's.Related content

The colors of the red and the bright blue give it a very oriential feeling to me when i veiw this image. If i would be picky about anything with this photo is there is a bit of blue that has leaked its way through onto the branches. this either occured during editing or more likely when the shot was initially compressed into a jpeg on your camera after you shot the image. It would be an easy fix though and i had to look real close to catch it

What is really stunning about this image is the color! The sky blue and that deep red is really amazing [and to think that is found in nature!].
I like the sporadic twigs and leavesβmakes for an interesting comp. I bet this would look really nice as a huge, mural size piece!

Quite a simple arangment but still effective. Might have liked to have seen a little more focus on the leaves though rather than just on the branches.
