** Mamoru can go back in time! ** (and relives the same year over and over again, trying to save someone he loves) Most of the other details are symbolic and story-specific that only I would know....
Mamoru is 18 years old. His birthday is May 1st. He is half Indian, half Japanese.
Physical Attributes
5'9" (175 cm) He has a strong, semi-muscular upper body (chest, arms, back) due to the physical labor of working in a coal mine. But, from the stress of his life, constant worrying, and exhaustion - he has dark circles under his eyes Mamoru's face is rounded with a strong chin bone. His lower bottom lip is dark; oval shaped. Verrrry interesting character (and I find him really cute!) Even just looking at him, his expressions, he seems kind and generous. Like I said on the other piece, he has a really interesting backstory, and I'm a sucker for a good time travelling story. Awesome job on this!

There's so many tiny details to his profile art, it's absolutely amazing - from the shine of his lips to the hairs covering his arms and legs, from his broad, sturdy built to the bags underneath his eyes, great work! I like how his body type is true to his profession as worker in a mine! He really does look like a young adult, and I think that's great work - it's really hard to properly convey age in someone's physical appearance, and I think you did well in that regard!
I like his haircut, and his nose is really well done, too! (Also, those legs are really well done, btw! Great anatomy!)
He seems like a quiet person (just how many times did I say that before? XD), with an emotional heart. I think his expressions convey his gentle nature (as well as the pain he experienced) well.

Time-controlling powers are certainly difficult to get a grip of. I can't find one time-travelling story that could actually 100% make sense and avoid paradoxes, but I guess that's just the nature of it (also I'm a nitpicker about science stuff). We live only in the now and we can only comprehend now, the rest is fiction/illusion. Have you watched those "Imagining 10 dimensions" videos on Youtube? I find this topic extremely interesting, especially since dimensions travel/bending is something concerning Aevie too.

What a beautiful AWESOME epic song!!! 
I spent most of the whole weekend doing some research and brainstorming ideas about this whole time traveling business. It does seem nearly impossible to avoid some kind of paradox, but I really want this construct to make sense--to me, at least! I watched some of the videos you suggested and they certainly got me thinking... this loop that he goes on must be in a different dimension, but then resonates in some form in the real world... like how in the part of town where he's repeating history, there's such a high amount of energy that people consider it haunted.... or how his tampering with memories makes Ruka go crazy. 
But the one thing that I'm really hung up on is whether he should age or not!! I think so--but wonder if it makes sense! After time the other characters would surely notice which would be interesting.... but if he's going back to posses his 18-year-old self then would he age?! ...

Well, I guess you need a healthy dose of suspension of disbelief with time travel. Most recent theories assume it's impossible to travel to past and influence it because what was done in the past is simply done, so science isn't helpful at all here. 
I would imagine if he enters his own body from the past then he just lands in this particular age and progresses in time from that moment again, like rewinding a tape.
