I wanted to relax after those 4 weeks spent with my cousin and my best friend, gosh I have an AT to do and jbdizefusidhj well.So I drew it cause I've always wanted to draw this awesome char.
There is no reason to this drawing, but just to thank you, Autlaw, 'cause you are my favorite artist and actually my main inspiration ~
Here is your Shinri with a large smile, I wanted to see him smiles !
Why this title? Maybe because the song that inspired me this drawing is The Wind of Change by Scorpions c:

I've spent many hours on this drawing but I really liked, it was fun to do! And sorry for this awful background seriously, I have to train...
The clouds look like cigarette smoke... :v

!!Shinri looks really cool here ! My goodness that gorgeous way you have drawn his face, he looks so happy. I like the type of smile he's got on his face, it's so him since it's not a super exaggerated smile, but rather that goofy and somewhat aloof but still honest smile which I really see as fitting for him ;u; !
I can imagine how you wanted him to smile, since most of my artwork involving in have such a sad tone to them x3 I actually find it very cute you gave him a smile, it actually looks good on him ://D
I can see you spent a lot of time on the drawing, everything looks really clean ! And I most of all love the lively colors ! The sky gradient and the warm daylight falling on his hair/chest look really good as well ;u;
And that super fluffy tail ! Nahww <3 As well as the way you made his mane flow, I can almost feel the breeze evident here : D
And the shading looks gorgeous ! I think the parts on his face, mane and his bandages are my favourite ones ;u; I like how you kept his face in the shadows, it really makes his eye stand out and still keeps that bit of mystery that's always around Shinri. Shadows across the eyes/face like this really bring out that feeling ;u;
And don't worry about the clouds, believe me, clouds aren't easy ;u; Damn it took me so long to learn how to paint them. They have got simple yet so incredibly difficult shapes.. well to paint them is very troublesome xD So I understand ;u; I actually like how you kept the clouds wispy in shape here. It fits well with the calm atmosphere in my opinion C: No big intimidating clouds, I mean x3
Thank you so much for this adorable gift my dear ;u;.. You should be proud of it ! And don't worry about the background. I'm sure you'll get the hang of them in time, we all make a start somewhere (; And I honestly think you made the background look good here, want to mention as well I like the texture on the rocks ;u; !

Ahpff don't worry about drawing him super thin or anything, it's also something that's in my style xD I love slender and thin anatomy and it's just a habit of mine hahaha XD Not an obligation for people to follow my style like.. you know xD It are just guidelines : P
And I agree, the contrast can really make a good impact ! I love interesting combinations in moods like that C:
