Description
Why not join the bandwagon? I tried to not put any artists on DA as it would fill the whole thing up. I think there is a huge difference between stuff that you like and stuff that you're influenced by. I tired to keep that in mind while making this- man this was hard!edit : changed 16 thanks to Phiq
1) Claire Wendling
2) 1950 -1970 inspired graphics/ illustration
3) Art of Coraline, namely John Klassen
4) Old photographs, particularly ones with scratches/ faded colour
5) Mucha
6) Gil Elvgren & pinup art
7) Movie stills. I think this one is from the film "Brick" I haven't seen it but the stills are really nice.
8) This is too obvious isn't it?
9) Certain fashion photography
10) Le Fabuleux Destin d'AmΓ©lie Poulain !!
11) Vintage packaging
12) Old children's books
13) James Jean. I considered putting him in as I love looking at his work but I'm not sure if I'm.. "influenced."? He does make me want to draw though. Yeah he's in.
14) Art of Pixar
15) and art of Disney, respectively. I think I like the conceptual art work more than the films themselves. Don't get me wrong I do enjoy the films immensely.
16) Whoops this is a double. Old children illustrations, Jean Giraud (moebius)
17) Is dat sum double leyendecker?
18) Uwe Heidschoetter
19) Quaint villages in europe and asia. This one is of southern France.
