Description
UPDATE 19/01/08A deep thank you to DeMaulwurfn and ^guruubii for granting this a Daily Devation. I am truly honoured.
Griffith Film School Presents
A Fox Shroom Production
Begone, Little Wolf
Directed by:
Our end of year student film for 2007. A culmination of work from various students and friends who have helped to make this film.
This film had been an experience. It taught me a lot about the world of animation, and about myself. While perhaps there were situations I could've handled a lot better, in the end, the film was completed, and I now take that experience into future projects.
While it is a student film, I am proud of how it came out. I am also grateful for all the help my friends and colleagues provided in making this film, which had been in development since first year.
I am especially grateful to Poh Ling, without whom this film perhaps would not even exist. She tolerated me, helped me, aggravated me, upset me, inspired me, just as I imagine I was a thorn in her side.
For her, there is an eternal thanks for her efforts and her friendship.
That said, I hope for those watching enjoy this film and provide as much, or as little, comments as they'd like.
Thank you

Colour and backgrounds were made in Adobe Photoshop. Composition was piled together in Adobe Premier, then rendered through Adobe After Effects.
The credits was animated using Adobe Flash

You've certainly have me thinking you are! ^^
Out of curiosity, how long did this animation take you to make and is it done in macromedia flash?

This film took about 4-6 months of production, drawn on paper, inked, scanned and coloured in Photoshop, then put through Adobe Premier and After Effects

I think the voices need to be louder, i head to turn up my volume and awful lot to hear the conversation clearly

That was due to the poor quality recording sessions. The machine just didn't want to work with us, no matter how many times we used it

This is an amazing piece of work. The very details of it are wonderful, from the way the Wolf changes his posture while walking, to the way he reacts to the town, to the very fight scene. There were so many ways you could have made it easy on yourself, and cut some details, but you didn't, and you went the full one hundred yards. I think that's what really made it so amazing. The very animation itself was smooth, and well rounded. I enjoyed seeing it all play out in smooth scenes. Even when you had to cut the fighting scenes, it all still flowed very well. It was natural. It was like actually looking through a window, and seeing everything happen as it actually would. The character designs were refreshing to. Nothing to complicated, but it more than gets the point across.
Really awesome stuff. I adored watching this.
