Description
UPDATE 19/01/08A deep thank you to DeMaulwurfn and ^guruubii for granting this a Daily Devation. I am truly honoured.
Griffith Film School Presents
A Fox Shroom Production
Begone, Little Wolf
Directed by:
Our end of year student film for 2007. A culmination of work from various students and friends who have helped to make this film.
This film had been an experience. It taught me a lot about the world of animation, and about myself. While perhaps there were situations I could've handled a lot better, in the end, the film was completed, and I now take that experience into future projects.
While it is a student film, I am proud of how it came out. I am also grateful for all the help my friends and colleagues provided in making this film, which had been in development since first year.
I am especially grateful to Poh Ling, without whom this film perhaps would not even exist. She tolerated me, helped me, aggravated me, upset me, inspired me, just as I imagine I was a thorn in her side.
For her, there is an eternal thanks for her efforts and her friendship.
That said, I hope for those watching enjoy this film and provide as much, or as little, comments as they'd like.
Thank you

This was just made for my third year film. Afterwards I did have potential plans to continue it, but just never got around to it.
Wolf will eventually appear in MAiZ, so he will return!

It was the first film I ever produced, so not surprising XD It was made in Australia with Australian actors.

Thank you very much! It was a challenge at the time, since all the animation was done on traditional paper.

... mind blown. I am more of the 3D animator myself and I am trying to learn more about my chosen medium. know about any interesting 3D catroons or animations that might be interesting to try to re create and learn from?

Oh nice! That's awesome
Honestly any animation done by PIXAR (Toy Story 3, Wall-E), Dreamworks (Shrek 2, Kung Fu Panda) and Sony Pictures Animation (The Secret Life of Pets, Hotel Transylvania) would be great to study. Also study the movement of people and creatures in film, even in real life! Best way to understand how a dog moves is to watch a dog move!
I wish you luck with it! 3D is an amazing medium to work with

I will take what you have said into consideration and I will study the animations that you have mentioned. By the way, good luck with any future 2D animation endeavors.

So will there be another animation involving that pup and wolf? I really want to know want to know what kind of adventures and trouble they get into on their journey.

There was a plan to make a sequel, but I never got around to making it.
I'd like to one day expand upon their journey after this short film though, maybe in comic form!
