Description
New demo reel updated and ready for viewing, which can be easily watched from HERE .Contains recent work I've done as part of my post graduate degree, include group work, short Maya projects, and recent professional work.

Yea, YouTube pulled it down not too long ago (despite the previous demo reel being on there for longer than a year). I ain't very happy about it.

umm, BRILLIANT!! can I ask, how long have you been animating for? and (how old are you?) I'm trying to teach myself a bit of 2D animation at the moment, do you have any tips for me? (sorry I don't normally ask these questions but you're amazing) (thankyou!)

Tips: Patience (taken me a while for that one), and life drawing, taking your sketch book places and drawing people, plants, anything. Professional classes are even better.
All else fails, a degree in Animation with Griffith University in Brisbane is a big plus

It's got great sync to the music, but I've heard demo reels ought to avoid music with lyrics. It can be distracting, especially when you can hear bits of the song's lyrics during the lip synch bits. But I like the presentation!

Is it alright to use Fox from Lylat Wars though? Lip synching is alright from other sources but I thought Andi told us (once) that using a copyrighted character can be a bad idea...

The thought had occurred, yea.
Suppose my reasoning is that the segment is from a group collaboration, adding to my Flash folio, even if it's a fan-comedy-based thing. The other hope that when its released, and a company watches my reel, they might make the connection.
My bigger concern is making the effort to show concept drawings of things other than furries

Awesome work Supadave!
Your artwork is awesome, and your animating is rather impressive at that too. Heck, I even feel a bit like becoming a animator now.
But really, great job on the video too! And your business card looks rather well done at that too, kinda feels like it has a cartoon-ish feel to it with the font used too and the nice use of colours, but hehe, that just my opinion. ^^'
