I was always amused by how the Pokemon TV show was advertised as being faithful to the games enough to say it can teach you how to become a better player. Yet, they did stuff like have pokemon one-shot opponents with attacks their opponents should be totally immune to. Or say that Gastly/Haunter/Gengar are great against Psychic pokemon.

People are already speculating that human/pokemon fusion will be in there based on logo design and a plot element in the comics.
