Description
Meme time! He's the reason I started drawing in the first place (and why I haven't stopped drawing furry animals)
Influences: Anthropomorphic characters
In an age when kids had to use animals or spinning discs or trading cards to win their battles, there were guys who just beat the shit out of people!
Influences: Human characters, super-epic-fighting battles, inner-energy related abilities
Recent human style was heavily influenced by this (also has the coolest "evil-hero" character ever, Inner Hollow Ichigo ftw)
influences: Further enhancing human drawing, expressions
Technically came before Bleach, but did tone down the whole "manly-epic-man" drawing. Influenced body shapes and character expressions.
Also helped shape Jaz's happy-go-lucky demeanor.
Influences: Enhanced human drawing
Anything they do, I want to do.
Brilliant storytelling, interesting character designs, emotional attachment, character journey.
Influences: Storytelling, emotional expressions, character development
Also helped influence my human drawing, as well as interest in line-shading style.
Influences: Human drawing, line-shading, face shapes
Further human enhancing, but interest in developing biiiiig shading, and use of shadows.
Influences: Human characters, shading style
If there's anyone I aim to surpass, it's him.
Influences: Detailed drawing style, detailed clothing style, emphasis on detail
A lot of music helps me culminate different stories or battles in my head, but Daft Punk sits at the top as the most influential.
Influences: Helps play out certain sequences via music
Influenced Jaz's current design, as well as designing specifically for animation.
Influences: Influenced Jaz's recent design, animation-friendly designs

I was thinking for a sec: "WHY IS SPIDERMAN THERE TWICE!!??" and thinking you could just put one big one
Then I realised you are recognising the different artists ~

Probably should've shown 2 different examples...but hey, they both draw Spider-man, so I couldn't resist

I'm not trying to sound like I know you better than you know yourself here, or say how you should draw/how you think you should draw, but merely offer an exploration your artistic identity from what little I've seen from you mostly on DA.
For you influences you listed Jeffery Axer as apparently a highly influential artist for you. No doubt he can certainly leave an impression, but as far as your own work goes I think your both aiming for two very different goals.
I always remembered this statement you made on this piece . "Being an animator, I tend to aim for detail with simplicity (or more accurately, whatever I can do quickly that looks good )"
That really says it all I think as far as your work goes. Axer works in a illustrative, self contained kind of work. The one piece tells it all essentially, while you emphasis on comics, and animations, etc focus on making your characters look really alive and in motion etc. You aim for a different quality that's not present in Axer's work, no better no worse essentially. Your own goals I think, again, contradict Axer's own artistic philosophy and if any thing hinder you own art prowess.
Not that you don't have piece's that certainly imitate a kind of Axer style.
-Piece with a very busy composition, and many well rendered little details. [link]
-Your 'Adventure' piece, the very one I used as an opening to this, contains a detailed, and again very busy environment
I could just be shooting my mouth off, as judging by this chart you only listed Axer at about 4th most influential? Again I'm not telling you what is best for you, or how your mind works. Its just based on some of your best work a different quality is being emphasized I feel which if you focus on more than trying to replicate what Axer does, I think you can create something all together new and that much stronger.

I have a friend in Pixar, his name's Austin Lee. He did the animations for Wall-E throughout the entire movie. He also did the naimations for the mother in The Incredibles, and he did the 3-D modeling for Buzz Lightyear in Toy Story 3.
He's very happy with his job, and he's a little bit of my inspiration for my DA pictures.
