Description
This is dedicated to the multitude of artists that suffer from "I-don't-know-what-to-draw" dislexia. It can strike at any moment, bringing the most talented of artists to their knees, driving many insane.I too suffer from this dislexia, and it is thus I dedicate this piece to all you who suffer from this horrible...horrible fate
Irony in itself I do a drawing about not knowing what to do...the initial idea was thus, but I decided to not only add Dave voicing my thoughts, but also include the Wolf. Thus creating a "flat-mate" scene with Dave the animator panicing and his room-mate Wolf eating some pizza and not particulary caring really.
Drawn in Flash, then coloured in Photoshop.

This happens to me alot at school...

This barely ever happens to me. Well I don't draw, but I make 3D models/scenes and music.
If I don't know what to do next, I look at my table, There is mouse (no... Just a PC mouse
If I think about a car and snow with road, in my mind I see a car on mountain road stuck in the snow.
If I see rectangle, I think about equalizer made of rectangles in 3d space, or rectangle flying around the forest and cutting trees, at the same time in some distance two guys looking the situation and scratching their heads.
I see a knife and wires. I my mind I see a man cutting wires from pc. The cut wires are bleeding all over the table, the man is mad at his pc and has crazy/insane grin happy face and one foot on the table. The man is torturing his pc. PC has no face or expressions of any kind. (If somebody wants to draw this, go right ahead)
Well... These may require more refining. Just comparing or putting together 2 or more random or completely opposite things togeter and mixing it with what you already know can reveal an idea.
I'm not an expert at this. Just my opinion and explanation how I get new ideas. And I have a good imagination. (Sometimes a real bugger when going into forest in the middle of the night. Every bush is a bear at night

OMG IT HAPPENS TO ME and I don't even draw.....It happens when I'm making music....Have you ever had artists A.D.D where you can't concentrate on one idea? because you have so many at one time?!? I HATE THAT SO MUCH!

I HERE YA BROTHER! i sadly have the disease myself. but i am getting treatments of "happy" pills to make my mind more "imaginative". i dont THINK i need them but my mind is slowly rotting if i dont draw again.

well, there's also the fact that specific Artists can end up without an idea how to start a picture that they know they wanna draw...
