Description
One of the common things I do is start something, then put it aside, only for it to surface when I SHOULD be settling important matters.I was rummaging through my stuff the other day and found this one, still in sketch stage. Originally, I was keen on trying to imitate that artistic brilliance I often see of taking a sketch and painting a character and developing the play of lights and shadows, without the need of line work to amplify it.
I got bored at the time, cause I knew it was gonna be a lot of work.
Until recently.
I got inspiration from my recent sketch battle with Ben and decided I'd give it another go.
And thus, here it is, after about 3-4 hours of work, give or take. While I like it, it ain't perfect...but it's a start. Still can't seem to create edges that aren't so...edgy.
Anyway, voila.

i want long emo hair that goes over the neon blue eye that is what ever colour you want with neon blue streaks, different greys for the body, neon blue paws fading into grey. one red eye and the other neon blue. his personality is heavy metal, punk, bad ass. and he is gothic as fuck. excure my language.

nice work...you're very brave; for some reason, i cling to line work...if something doesn't have a clearly defined edge to it, i kinda freak out. guess that's why i don't paint often. heeh. this looks wonderful though. ^w^
