Description
Two concepts I thought up quite a while ago. I also made them quite some time ago. Both are support weapons for the Solean Naval Infantry of my Sci Fi story (check out the first chapter in my gallery) the DGL30 being a 30 mm belt fed grenade launcher, and the M13 being a 7.62 mm MMG. I must say that in retrospect, it might have looked better and be more practical to beef up the M13's handguard, but oh well. ALSO, I KNOW that there aren't ejection ports-both of these were just basic rudimentary designs I did, so I didn't spend time perfecting things, however I may remake them. I have already noticed some blending problems on them, so don't waste time pointing them out.Related content

Suggest some sig*hts be added to 30mm, as I wouldn't want to underestimate the distance between me and a lot of explosions.
As for the both of them, they could use a little blending and a little less color choice ... It makes me think the weapons are made completely out of plastic. Usually, I don't trust plastic weapons to uphold unless they're made of the stuff H&K uses.

I know, I made them just to show a concept more than solid, perfect design.

Yep! If you haven't, you might want to check out the first two chapters of my story!

Looks good, I like this concept- but where is the trigger on the DGL30?

Invisible. Naw, like I said, I didn't pay wholesale attention to detail
But good point. I'll have to clean up a few things on each gun, in the future.

Well all in all the concept is nice. Keep up the good work.

Only half as good looking as the Naval Infantry, in their M3A armor!
If you're wondering, it's:
M
Atmospheric
Adaptation
and
Acceleration
suit
= the 3 "A"s in M3A.
But in my story, they don't have the armor suits-they're more like Ghosts from Ghost Recon Future Soldier series or Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

Nice. The soldiers in mine have armour more like in Battlefield 2142, but the weapons aren't the most advanced. They're somewhat like in Perfect Dark.
I'm about to do uniforms and rank insignia for one of my factions soon. I don't know if you're watching me or not, but they'll be up.. er.. this week maybe. Some of them.

I just watched you. Anyways, yeah the Naval Infantry (in mine) at least at this point aren't terribly advanced weapon-wise. If you look in my gallery, the FA68 series is a primary supplement for the Naval Infantry, but they also have the Mk 18 in my gallery, as well as the M5 NIFR pistol (NIFR stands for Naval Infantry Force Recon, but the standard pistol is less modified).

Nice. The two standard issue weapons between my factions are the AK-B (Think bullpup AK) for the Russians, and the F20 (sort of a modified better version of the FAMAS). Stuff like plasma weaponry doesn't come until the 2060s in the utmost of experimental versions. By the 2100s, plasma weaponry, particle weaponry, and railgun technology are the standard issue.

I think railguns would be standard faster than plasma weaponry. Testing for railguns isn't new news, and they can be scaled down with development, probably. The main problem, I believe, with plasma weapons is containing the plasma.
Sorry if I burst your bubble but that's just what I think.

Oh, no worries. My vision of a railgun is like.. an anti-vehicle sniper rifle.
