Description
Well I've been gone for quite some time! I was on a trip in europe, but I am back now and I made this little guy. I will post more pictures of him in a bit. Sebastian is not for sale but I will be making a larger one that I plan to auction. If you are interested in posable commissions please send me a note.Related content

He has a wood and wire frame and he is wrapped in vet wrap. I'm a stop motion student and My teacher showed us how vet wrap can be used for puppet making, so i used it on a poseable!

Vet wrap? I might have to try that! It's the perfect texture for an octopus! And you're a stop motion animation student? That is just superbly awesome!! May I ask where?

I go to RIT, its got an amazing animation program with awesome stop motion teachers. I've learned a lot that helps me make pose able art dolls too If you do try vet wrap look for the cheapest you can find you may need more than you originally think and if you buy the overpriced stuff you will regret it.

Very cool! That sounds so fun! How does vet wrap hold up long term? does it dry out over time and become less clingy or more brittle? Do you glue it together on the doll or just wrap it?

vet rap just needs to be pressed firmly onto itself no glue or anything. It can last a long time as long as its handled with care and not bent to extremes repeatedly. We have some stop motion puppets at the school that are made of vet wrap and are a couple years old and they are fine as far as I can tell.
