Another quick doodle sketch of a ReBoot character.
This time, Matrix.

I really find male characters awkward to draw and difficult to make, but I wanted to experiment for practise at least. :]
Plus Matrix kicks ass.

For some reason, growing up, I never liked matrix, and never understood the character, but 10 years later watching all the episodes again, he's become my favourite now I actually understand what's going on and his story arc. :]

I thought for a guy, all the swirling and 'vine' like designs would be a bit too feminine for him, so tried more straight and heavy-set lines. Also tried to make him look jagged and sharp to in some way, kind of hint to his personality and generally short, sharp temper. That's the intention at least! xD
Green, black and yellow pencils.
Also tried a bit of charcoal some buddies got me for my Bday to make him look a bit scuffed. Not too sure how I feel with the turnout. I think it made him look overall kinda 'ashy' and his boots blotchy...
