First skip drawing update in a long time! I love it. I've not forgotten about skip humanization, but since most of past drawings are anime in style, I'm wondering if I should use my current real person style to draw them.....
Both are quite old in my opinion; one literally being several hundred years old, another in terms of device capability and technology.

That's true. I haven't exactly drawn any Scips except for the pixels. And that was in what, 2014?
Yeah, you should use your new style. It would look great!
True, but I guess I was thinking "One is much more old compared to the other" or something like that. I don't really remember. I was so tired that I basically looked at the drawing and stated "You know what? Screw it". In hindsight... not the best idea. Too many errors.

Around that, I think.
Hmmm. I wonder which of my past drawings will fit that style? Most skip humanizations I drew consist of 1370 and the Builder Bear family, and I'm still not good at drawing kids. I was thinking about Forty-nine in that style, but still drawing GOI personification now, it,might be in the distant future.
It's okay. Don't push yerself, because I did when drawing AR. multiple times. To the point that I decided to leave that page blank because the pencil marks can't be erased. So I'm just going slow for the Sarkic Family personifications......

Eh, probably.
Kids are mini adults with huge ass eyes. I think.
'049 would actually look really good in your style. I think you should try to draw xir after all the GOI.
Sigh. Yes, yes, I know. "Perfectionism is the enemy of production." While I'm not exactly a perfectionist... I'm incredibly lazy. And tired. But mostly lazy.
Hey, did you know that half of my sketchbook is filled with incomplete sketches? They mostly consist of circles and triangles~

Kids are, um, adults with shorter and chubbier face, shorter nose, bigger eyes, more smooth skin outline and jaw/cheek bones. I can't do that for some reason, despite having no problem drawing old lady and man.
I've actually done 049 with no humanization earlier, and though it is not that bad like my anime drawings, there is still a lot of space for improvement. I will eventually try skip humanizations in this style.....eventually.
Exactly. I'm both a perfectionist and a lazy person. That's why I don't update a lot on my DA account.
The front half of my sketchbook is mostly GOI personification doodles, which is my realistic drawing without shading, texture and slightly simplified. With chibis and headcanons in between.

... you basically described my entire drawing style...
Zeus damn it.
You do well with old persons because old people are required to have more detail and, since you are a detail-oriented person, makes you want to complete the drawing/sketches even more.
(I know bruh. I've seen. And it's flipping fantastic.)
That eventually better mean "soon". Nobody's watching you.
Sounds like a great sketchbook. A very, very more organized sketchbook than my own. I don't even bother getting a proper sketchbook, the disgrace that is I.

Um, cartoon is exaggerating reality, so as long as it looks like what the creator intended to draw and tell a story, it is entirely fine.
Is it surprising that the first character I drew in the Sarkic Family and spend time to add basic shadings is Proto-Sarkic grandma? I love drawing people with clearly-defined facial features and not so "kawaii" looking, since anime is all about the same kind of...."beautiful" modification to normal people, and such unrealistic proportions caused me a lot of trouble when drawing real anatomy.
*Glance around the room suspiciously*
Is it? Apart from my bed, the window, the messy desk, and that guy peeking inside with a fedora and grey suit, I didn't see nobody......
Most of my headcanons are doodled in my textbooks and practice sheets. The more boring the lessons get, the more the amount of doodles on them. Shame on me, I know, and I actually get reprimanded a lot by teachers back in my native country for that.

How to exaggerate reality 101: cartoon
I'm done I swear
Nope. Not surprising at all.
Kawaii... oh my Zeus, you actually said kawaii. Remember this day, Ryin. Remember.
Eh, that's true. Once you've stuck to a cartoon style, it's insanely difficult to get out of it. The first time I drew realistically, I made the eyes way too big, the nose way too small, and the lips looked like mini tumors. You know, cartoonish.
No, no, you saw Nobody!
I received the same treatment. Except I drew in my books and hid my sketchbook from sight. They still caught me, though.

How to make someone who tries to draw realistic anatomy's life difficult 101: Anime/Manga
It has been four months since I drew the last anime person.
Holy Mekhane, is there something taboo about the word kawaii? Is the irony breaking some ancient seals that will overrun the world with bad fanfictions once it is fully released?
The first time I tried a realistic drawing.....I heard that real people need larger mouths, more defined nose, and small eyes. I overdone it and the final drawing looks like a shark. With ugly human nose.
I just said that! I saw nobo-
My past files are full of very bizarre drawings. The thing is, you gotta hand up worksheets, and whatever things you drew when you are bored are inevitably exposed in front of your teacher's eyes, which is bad for you when you just doodled a lot ofΒ people with bleeding eyes and distorted wings/legs coming out of their bodies.
