Description
i should be:a) reading for theo 121
b) studying for my com 100 orals
c) writing a paper for fil 14
and
d) studying for my psych 101 exam
but i decided to do this. heh. bite me.
this one's for a school exhibit on the environment. go easy on me, i haven't touched vectors in two years
september 7, 2008: i'm kind of dry on inspiration right now, hence the kilmer reference (which in my honest opinion is the lamest poem ever written by anybody). i'll probably take it out and replace it with something some other time.
september 8, 2008: replaced kilmer with raine (yay for sustained metaphors!). i've also added roots to the "E".

I fear that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
A three is all thatβs good and right
Why must my three keep out of sight?
Beneath a vicious square root sign
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick
With just some quick arithmetic
I know Iβll never see the sun as 1.7321
Such is my reality
A sad irrationality
When, hark! Just what is this I see?
Another square root of a three
Has quietly come waltzing by
Together, now, we multiply
To form a number we prefer
Rejoicing as an integer
We break free from our mortal bonds
And with a wave of magic wands
Our square root signs become unglued
And love for me has been renewed.
