Gilles de Rais was previously a Knight of the Holy Order of Frailan, he was a knight who fought against the forces of evil together with the Grand Master Solomon and Joan of Arc who unfortunately would be completely consumed by darkness and madness.

He was a great friend of Solomon and had a feeling of admiration and love for Joan of Arc being willing to do anything for her. After the death of Joan by sacrificing himself to save him and Solomon, Gilles de Rais would go mad and blame Solomon for everything that happened.

He would try to bring her back and his method was the creation of homunculi, he would create dozens of homunculi and for that he kidnapped children (mainly girls) whom he hid in the dungeons that were in the basement of his mansion where he killed them to use. organs and other parts for his creations. Gilles became obsessed with perfection he wanted to create a homunculus that was the spitting image of Joan, that is why he was never pleased with his creations since in all his attempts the homunculi had imperfections. In the end he would be assassinated by Solomon after his crimes were discovered.

In hell he would become a demon of great power where, using his alias Bluebeard, he would be part of the Infernal Generals. with his power he continues his attempts to create the perfect replica of Joan. The level of his power is unknown as he spends all his time in his palace creating homunculi but is believed to be almost as powerful as the other Infernal general Ukklux.
