I'm not sure why I didn't post this one before. I found it while I was going through some of my older photos, and I like it quite a lot. It's one of those that I think encourages the viewer to try to get inside the heart and mind of the subject to find out what's going on in her world. The model is Rebecca.Related content

She looks like a classical painting. It reminds me of a story I once read about a woman (or maybe man) who wanted to escape to another world. She wanted it so much that finally her wish was granted and she became part of a painting.

damn what is she thinking of, what is she looking at in her imagination? you know?
the lighting, i know, you hate when people point it out.
but the type of spot light on her faces really emphasizes the concept that you're trying to portray (the imagination, etc.)
overall, nice... some would say it's sensual, sexy, etc... i think it's normal. i think.... she has a very fragile look to her, it's cute

Really nice lighting, mysterious and private, as though this is her bedroom, and we're just peeking in on her. To me, she looks sad. Maybe she's been crying, has had a fight with a lover, and he or she walks in and she's half rising to see where they stand, trying to read the other's expression. She has a numbness about her, as though she's cried too long and too hard and now can't cry anymore. Very emotive with only her eyes. I love the detail on the camisole top.

I love that. It makes you think of a honeymoon night, or a wonderful date that has time to come to a great night... haha.

most definitely! Her expression is kinda like when you watch people sort of drifting off/ daydreaming. The eyes looking past what one sees.
it has quite a innocent and fresh feel to it, which contrasts to the quite sensual styling and wonderful skin textures you catch with your lighting
