I was feeling a bit jealous because everyone seems to have a Heart in Book Spine photo except for me. So, I got out the necessary materials and made one. Unfortunately, I don't own a red lens filter, so I made do with what was at hand.
This is my entry for $chix0r and $spinegrinder 's Anti-Valentines Contest .

I would totally take it and put it in a jar with alcohol or whatever you have to do to preserve it and keep it on a shelf. It makes me want to see you do a whole series, like "heart on my sleeve", "heart in my mouth" (LOLOL!), etc etc.

This is brilliant. At first before I read the description, I just thought it was a really interesting image, and then I read, and laughed out loud. It's a great take on the heart in a book spine concept. I really like it a lot!

wow. you can see a lot of the detail on the heart. fat and ridges and all. it's pretty ... disgusting. i'd actually like to see less of it; it takes up so much of the picture. but that's just me. i like how it's plopped on the book though. the tilt to the text makes it more engaging to the viewer since they have to tilt their head to read it.
