Great image. Strong composition and both the lighting and the use of b/w strongly support the image. Well done, take a pat on the back.

You're the king of great lighting.
I love the sort of mystical look of this.

gorgeous pic, Kev! I've made once pics with the glass orb, but it was only play, kinda snapshots (must say - with gorgeous model ). I wish to see it as a fav on my front page, but unfortenately, dA hasn't show my new favs since few days. Dont know why. I'll be back for it

Very nice image! I like the way you lit the glass orb to make it glow in the model's hands. Lighting on the face might be better softened a bit to even out the texture of the skin.

Great Shot kevin!
Mind you his face looks a tad gritty. A bit too pixely for my likings.

I'd love to see the colour shot

m, I think the b&w worked especially well for this, so you can see where his face and hands are lit up.
the lighting is of course great on this, haha, I know I say that for every shot of yours, but you really do have an excellent way with the lighting.. like really!

ah the ball again
hehe. it seems to apear in so many of your shots
i like it alot. the dramatic higlights, but u already know your the best with lighting
the only thing i dont like is the roughtness of his skin, it would much beter smoother, but i guess u cant help someones skin
his eyes are incredable in this. i take it u maniped them?
but yeah. nice converting into b&w, everything seems good
god u have no idea how long it took me to type this in good spelling

The tones are wonderful. Details on the face is beautiful and together with the lighting and tones looks like a classic low key portrait.

holy cow! this is one beautiful portrait!

his eyes are illuminated just perfectly and that halo around his hands (i think its the flash on his fingernails?) looks really good!
works better on full view!

This looks great, I love the spot light effect and the erie quality this has. Its still so unusual to me to see black people with blue eyes (I presume his are blue eyes) and a visible iris pattern.
If it weren't for the clothes this would seem very other worldly as he's very beautiful and the skin .. just amazing.
Would you by any chance happen to know a tutorial for this b/w calculation conversion method you mentioned?
Thanks.
