Description
I was shooting Lindsay for my Femme Elemental series, and we warmed up with a number of easy portrait photos. I really liked how some of these warmup shots turned out, so I'll share.

It's very pretty.. has kind of a demure look to it..despite the obvious cleavage... but anyway, very shadowy and lovely

it's actually not too difficult. the light has to be soft (you can use a flash with softbox or a white umbrella or a piece of white foam, or even a window). position the model between the camera and the light source, so the light is shining on the model TOWARDS the camera. this is what creates the silhouette look. experiment with it. it almost always gives great results.

Mmm what beautiful warm glow this has. I really dig the way she seems to be lost in thought, not posing in the slightest. The light is so gorgeous, especially on her chest. Touchy feely photography.
