my veins. They were standing face-to-face when he ripped off the mask and I saw her mouth drop open in a soundless scream,
her hands fling upward to fend him off. The defensive gesture seemed to madden him, and he reached out as though he intended
to drag her closer to the terrible horror he had revealed.
