*References for abilities:
Luigi:
Air Flutter & Increased Jump Height (Debuted in Super Mario Bros. 2 USA)
Peach:
Float Jump (Debuted in Super Mario Bros. 2 USA)
Daisy:
Double Jump (Debuted in Super Mario Run)
Rosalina:
Spin Jump (Debuted in Super Mario World and Super Mario Galaxy, with different applications in games. Rosalina uses this ability in Super Mario 3D World, but it is only to gain extra height. I Frankensteined the mechanics of the Spin Jump from both titles together.)
Original Abilities:
Coin Bonus (Wario)
Surprisingly, there has been no bonus relating to coins in any main Wario game, that I know of.
Sabotage (Waluigi)
References Waluigi’s affinity to using Bob-Ombs in Mario Sports titles, although it is never used as a main mechanic in any fan game or official title as of yet.
Music Blast (Pauline)
References Pauline’s singing role in Super Mario Odyssey, although music is never used as an attack in either Mario Tennis Aces or Mario Kart Tour (the only two spinoff titles this version of Pauline has been in so far)
Bonus Information:
*Pauline’s walking sprites reference her animations in Donkey Kong (1981) and Super Mario Odyssey
All characters are within the 3-color sprite limit of the NES.

I’ve decided to scrap him for this project and instead have him be in a standalone version of Super Mario Bros., titled Super SpongeBob. However, he could be released in the future as a sort of DLC

Hiding behind the black square with the letters N/A stamped across, you find a particularly gruesome lone Pauline sprite, with messed up coding and strange features, such as a visible nose and bright orange hair, wearing a pink dress. “Imposter... she’s an imposter...” she cries out softly.
