Description
For this challenge, I wanted to take a defensive approach, I'm not much of a fighter and my physical strength isn't anything to boast about! I much prefer taking a supportive role in most things that I do!Initially I grabbed a bucket and got some water from a nearby pond. I then used a shovel to dig up the ground surrounding the flag, I kept digging until I had completely dug out a full ring around the flag. It was decently deep, enough for somebody to be able to fall inside of it, at least! I then filled up the hole with the pond water, creating a moat, isolating the flag on an island with a decent amount of water in every direction!
Despite my efforts, I realised that this alone would not do! I took some small cubes of wood and attached wires between them. After this, I looked around and managed to find a small lemon tree, now my plan was starting to take shape! I stole a lemon from the tree and then used it in order to create a lemon battery. With this and a couple minutes of finicking with my wires I was able to make a fairly acceptable electric tripwire!
Not only this, but I could also use my new lemon battery to electrify the moat that I had made, making it less of an inconvenience and more of a deathtrap! Preventing anybody from crossing it!
Now how does all of this nonsense work, exactly?
Well, any oncoming attackers will most likely be too focused on avoiding me and also keeping their on the flag to notice the tripwire on the ground. They would hit the tripwire and immediately receive a small shock! If the wire wasn't enough to trip them up, the confusion of the shock will definitely be enough to make them lose concentration and trip into the moat! After tripping into the water, the attacker will continue to be shocked in the moat and incapable completely of reaching the other side of the moat, let alone the flag!
Using my electric tripwire trap, I feel as if I was able to do a pretty solid job at defending my team's flag!
Thank you!
