Description
For those of you who may or may not be skeptics of my painting, or for anyone interested, I have my process!! Now these were originally screenshots for my own personal benefit, so I don't have my starting grid or color palette shown, and they're also kind of.... sporadically taken, because I'd just recap after every session.... but still, it really did take a hundred million hours to complete... I know I am bound to get some negative comments for this, but I am not a Harry Potter fan. However, what drew me to this picture is that I believed that is what it was: a photograph taken by a camera. It is that realistic. Your talent is impressive.

Wow, this is incredible. I sort of can't believe that that zipper isn't just copied into there from a photo and blended into the whole thing. I know it's crazy to be in awe over a zipper - but I truly think that that part of the drawing is so incredibly realistic that it's just..... crazy good.
The rest of the picture is really awesome as well (though Harry is missing eye lashes.. but maybe that's Radcliffe's fault xD).
Anyway, thanks for sharing the process of making this. I always think it is really fascinating to see how a picture 'emerges' from a sketch.

I... did not realize I forgot to add Dan's eyelashes! Well, the damage is done, he'll grow them back in time for the TriWizard Tournament. And thank you about the zipper!!!! I'm oddly very, VERY proud of it, and that little guy took more time than half the wall!

This may sound weird, but I think Hermione's hand is the most impressive part! Hands are so difficult to draw or paint, and you made it look so photo-realistic!

I was actually afraid I'd mess it up so I put it off to the very last thing I did, and I spent about an hour figuring out how to make the wrapping look niceΒ
