Description
I'm using a photo by my friend Stina (original here, converted to black and white in Photoshop using calculations (the process is overviewed here by ^superkev ). I like the calculations method; it seems easier in some ways than moving sliders until you think you have the image you want, it's not too complicated like some methods I've seen, and it seems pretty powerful. [Stina, I like this much more in black and white. I was excited when I finished and wanted to share with you. Great photo; I honestly love it.]I made my dock fully transparent with Application Enhancer, a free preferences utility.
New iTunes. I miss the green icon. Oh well; the blue is growing on me. It looks like a good update. I'm excited to play around with it.
I will say again that last.fm is amazing. I think the Knox network may be too slow for it, so I'm going through withdrawl.
I don't use Firefox very often. I really prefer Safari; it just feels nicer to me, although the fox is a great piece of softwear. I might switch once Firefox 2.0 is finished...
Adium X for AIM and MSN. Tabbed conversations, baby. Oh yeah.
The screenshot was taken with Grab, the utility included with OS X for screen capture. It saves files as high resolution TIFF files, which is nice because the quality is excellent. The files are usually more than a megabyte, so I convert them to JPEG. (I'm a disk space freak.) Good times.
Cheers everyone!

Now who's stealing people's photos?!
I do like it in black and white, and it makes a very nice desktop. And I'm glad that you like my photo so much... I shall have to inform my brother.

Fracture for fracture... I don't think that one is actually valid anymore. Oh well.
The branch in the foreground really stood out in color and I thought looked out of place. The black and white subdues that a little and helps it blend in more. The color version is still very nice, of course.
