Description
First, I'M SORRY FOR THE LATE, . I'm sorry, seriously. I've got lot of real life issues for this end of the year. All during December. So I needed to make this SS bigger! :C Although not really colored. I didn't have time for this, seriously. :CAgain, here's my Secret Santa for from the event! Took me over 9000 hours to draw, and the first time I drew that many characters on one pic. ;_;
It's a peaceful time for the Greil Mercenaries, so they decided to pose for a picture! Not a nice idea for all of them though. I know I shouldn't have put Greil in this since Mia is in this pic and that all of them together have technically never been in peace since they met Mia during WAAAAR, and that Greil died shortly after the group meets her. I would have wanted to put Ike and Boyd side by side (yay for crack pair) but I thought it'd be better for Boyd to interact with his two other brothers, lol. And I put Mia and Soren side by side because the receiver likes Mia x Soren.
DON'T ASK ME WHY THE DRESS ON TITANIA (which I used reference for this). I dunno. I always imagined her with some kind of medieval/renaissance costume when she isn't wearing her armor, lol. Maybe it's due to some Japanese fan art I've seen of her in her younger days? O_o And beside, she's one of the very few females in Fire Emblem (or any video games overall) to not be seen with a single naked skin on her whole body beside her head, lol. Oh and Mist. WHY does she wear that mini-skirt? How can her father approve of this? XD Oh, and WHAT ABOUT THEIR SHOES/BOOTS? Why do they have to wear such complicated stuff on their feet?
Also, DON'T YOU THINK GREIL LOOKS LIKE THE AWESOME SEXEH ADAM MALKOVICH FROM METROID: OTHER M?
Now one more SS to finish, party time in few hour, then I'll be a little more free on the internet!

This is awesome~I love the coloring and the unique poses, especially Boyd's and Mist's. I also love the expressions of Rolf and Mia. It actually took me a while to figure out that it was Gatrie over there by Shinon, since I'm so used to seeing him in his armor, and now I feel dumb~ XD
Overall, I love this, and now I have the urge to play PoR~

I'm glad it gave you the urge to play PoR again! I haven't played the game since more than a year, LOL. Yet, I still like the game. I guess I'm just too used to play handheld games only these days. :C

Also, LOVE the poses ^^ Usually pictures with loads and loads of people look kind of boring, but this is all dynamic ^^

Yeah I wanted to make them in stiff/generic poses at first, but I thought that would be too boring, lol. Although making all those weird poses and interactions was painful. :C (though some still have generic poses, mainly Titania, Rhys and Shinon, lol)

This must have taken forever to put together, even in a hurry lol. Either way, it's really nice to see a group picture of the Greil Mercenaries. Oscar kind of looks like a ghost because of how pale his colouring is, so it just makes Rolf's frightened expression all the more entertaining haha. Clearly I am far too easily amused.

Yeah it took me quite a while to ponder how each other should interact, lol. Now that I think about it, I rarely see pictures where characters interact, and I rarely draw that either. :C It was quite a nice experience to draw this picture. XD
Now that you mention it, indeed Oscar looks kind of paler than anyone

Gatrie is so girly haha. I have to agree that most of the girls in FE doesn't have that kind of medival clothing, like you drew with Titania. Weather is probably too hot for them so mini-skirts for teenage girls, haha.

Thanks! XD Yeah it's kind of weird you don't see any girls, beside unimportant NPCs, in more medieval clothes. Though I find it odd how can Mist survive during those Daeins winters O_O And even less ON THE BATTLEFIELD. Most of girls have at least some little piece of armors (like shoulder pads things), but Mist has NOTHING. XD

And Shinon looks as badly tempered as always. I like him though, but Rolf made a MUCH better sniper. I like Zihark the very best. ^_^

Haha, I'm not much into average for characters, though. XD I'd say anyone is good as long as you baby them, and the rest has to be relied solely on the RNG

Wow, at first when I wrote the wishlist I was like "mh, damn. >support&pairings<. No groups... okay then I'll do some SUBTLE HINTING..." And you really did the Greil Mercs! I'm so happy!!
No worries about the lateness. I was too late for christmas too, and I like the way you colored it. Even though you had real life troubles you took some of your time to make this and even the whole group whereas you could've done just one of the support couples, so I appreciate it over 9000 times xD
Wah I love them all to bits. Boyd and Rolf typically in a fight with Oscar stepping in before Boyd smacks his younger brother. And Titania looks like a real noble lady here(well she always does, but with the dress even more so). She's really pretty. And I really have to agree with you: In video games there are always lot more males than females, and if there are females they show waaaaay too much skin or are in really tight clothes. Ugh. Like Mist and she's... 14 guessed?
But the interactions between her, Greil and Ike are adoreable. Mia's so cute, Shinon his typical self(lol) and Gatrie IS small, but I think that's because he's bending over Rhys shoulder from behind him so he can look at... one of the girls I'm sure.
The whole group is so beautiful, for they are so different and ill-matched, yet a perfect combination and a tight-knit family... ...

Yeah I noticed that you seemed to like the mercenaries at whole very much, so I thought it was a good idea to make them all together since I like the group at whole a lot as well XD They are like a family after all C:
Yes you got it right about Gatrie bending XD But it was kind of hard to show this since there's no real shade in the picture. :C It would have been easier if I'd color the lower part below the knees a bit darker! :C And yes, he's obviously looking at one of those girls.

I'm really surprised about Titania since she was always more adult and serious as anybody else (I don't count Greil in, I'm sry old man^^) Now to see her in a Dress shows that there's so many room to fill besides the mercenaries Life. I always loved Titania, even with her function as newbie-kickn-ass-Character in FE9 (I'm happy that this is changed in FE10). So I'm very interested in spinoff stories of Titania in a more private or civil way. Good Job rly, you brought me to think again about something^^

Yeah, after all, they mentioned many time in-game how the mercenaries are like a family! It would have been cool to see many of those family moments they spoke of, like how Titania treat them since she's like a motherly figure to most of them!
Titania is indeed one of those characters who have a lot of space for backstories! She's the first member of the mercenaries outside of the Greil's family! We know how she met Greil, but was Elena's still alive when she met him? XD If so, was there something between the two women?
I guess we'll never know, but that's what fan fictions are for! XD
