...a little sketch I did not too long ago of the Green Lantern "Jade". I thought it would be different doing the sketch in colored pencil-obvious choice of Green.*Prismacolor Green pencil on Bristol.

Hm.... Now, that ship, would that be the one from futurama, granted it's been a good year or two since I WATCHED futurama, or is that a ship from Raan, or am I looking for no-existant cameo ships and you just wanted to slap down a random space ship?

nah-none of the above really just goofin around and threw a little spaceshipo in the background if it helps I was thinking of the old classic Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon serials with there missile shaped, or bomb shaped rocket ships.

-thanks Jolene, actually didn't put much thought into the line weight, my prismacolors aren't the best in the world, they have soft leads so that means constant sharpening-I am always on the hunt for a good hard leaded colored pencil that doesn't break easily...while I'm at it might as well search for the "Holy Grail" or "Atlantis".

thanks man, I'm thinking of doing more of these in the future, I can crank out a "toon" or animated style piece much faster than my usual detailed work.

I personally must cofess ignorance when it comes to my "Green Lantern Corps" knowledge; All I know is that she is the daughter of the original golden age Lantern/ Alan Scott and is brother to "Obsidian"....oh and she's kinda cute...for a comic character
