...this is a companion piece for an earlier work entitled; "Surrounded"(in the gallery). This illustration was done for the interior of a gaming fanzine for fans of Metamorphosis Alpha (one of the first science fiction themed RPGs) and was done for a client in Australia.The Werewolf character is called a "Wolfoid", the plant all around the main characters is actually a character itself, a living intelligent plant organism from the games...the female character is of my creation ,I threw her in to add balance to the previous piece which had a male human character featured.

Very cool. The party is being attacked by the "faceless men" huh? Wolfoids and androids are two of the iconics of Metamorphosis Alpha. Have you mentioned this on the forums at metamorphosisalpha.net?

Hi Andy, Happy New Year and welcome to deviantART....
To be honest I do not know much about the game except for what I've read. Craig Brain hired me to do a series of commissions for the forum and site a while back, think I did a total of 4 drawings for him related to the RPG. I have never played the game myself but am aware of its unique place in gaming history...
I haven't visited the forums in quite some time-been busy cathching up on my work and preparing some projects that are soon to be released...But will make a point of visiting the forum soon...

Outstandingly groovesome. Your pics always have a fantastic level of detail, and this one's no exception – plus the character designs are great, and the poses and composition make the whole thing look really dramatic. Top work, chap!

You've still made them look really groovy, though. I love the way you've got them lurching out of the undergrowth with bits of vine and leaves still attached.
