Description Red Tail hawk (chiken hawk) at the 2011 Valhalla Ren Faire at The guilde of Se Ambrose in South Lake Tahoe, Camp Richardson.

I can't tell which of our Red Tails this is, either Eowyn or Sindri, but either way those birds we wild birds, one was wild caught, the other was a rehab bird. They flew with their falconers for one season and were released over the summer back into the wild to roam again.

Thank you for the wonderful photos of the birds. The Guild of Se Ambrose was kind enough to let us tag along with them. The collection of falconers that bring their birds are actually a part of Falcons Court and the Guild of St. Tibba. Hopefully we will all be back this up coming June with our new Red tails and some old favorites

I adore Red Tails! we have a mated pair that live out behind my house. When i went to the Ren Fest in Franklin TN they had Eagles and Hawks too

I've never seen them really in the wild that i can recall.
Tho i have seen alot of Hawaiian birds one being the rare Hawaiian Owl.

Thier really quite cool, check them out with a picture search or on Weekirpedia.
Alot of other native hawaiian birds are quite amazing just like the fish thier...have some in watercolor in my gallery!

Yeah thier where two Red Tail Hawks this last year at the faire.
And thier so amazing as i really never see them out in nature.
