Description
The Background was modeled, textured, and rendered in 3D Coat. The character was modeled and textured in Sculptris. The Scene was was composited and rendered together in Blender! I used a material with Shadow Only turned on so the character casts a shadow on the background as though she were really there. I got the idea after remembering the Pre-Rendered backgrounds in old games like resident evil! This method looks cool and saves render time like a BAWSE!! The only problem is that you are stuck in the same angle as the background render, but the result really is worth it!

This looks AMAZING!!! Also that same angle problem isn't really a big one, because you can just render more angles in less time then to render the whole thing, right?

yeah, the built in renderer for 3D coat is really quick and is good at getting all those little bumps in the bumpmap, better than blender is. and blender renders out the character like no problem, so the two together are pretty sick!
