Some 27-minute background painting practice. I don't think I've ever really seriously tried to draw a volcano and I was too lazy to reference lDPainted on SAI.

I love the strong highlights (which really show the heat and brightness of the lava) and the dark shadows, both of which contrast nicely. Wow, only 27 minutes!
