I've never seen so many drawings on a paper.
I can't do doodle dumps. Most of my sketches I erase when I don't like.
And my doodles never come out good.

law l that can't be true, there are hundreds if not thousands of doodle dumps like this XD
And I'm sure you just need some training. For one, try not to erase. That way you'll have reference of the things you SHOULDN'T do. Just keep restarting the same attempt and try to make drawings that are no bigger than two inches. Really, the smaller the drawing, the better you see it and the less it is subject to deformation because of the perspective of the paper.

I find there IS. In fact, I've had this tablet for some time now, and I've gotten very used to it. But there's nothing like FEELING the pencil tip on the paper. It's like... more intuitive... So lately I don't do linearts in the computer all that often anymore, because it's just not the same. I draw on paper and then scan.

Nah, it wasn't SO bad XD In fact I watched it yesterday cuz I thought "hay what's my beef with avatar?" and I barely remembered. And after watching it, it kinda... proved to be just the way I remembered it, lol. I mean yaaah great graphics and pretty cool animals, and the na'vi are pretty kickass, but I can't help being distracted of all that by all the incongruities... Ok, I won't talk trash of avatar around an avatar fan^^ It would deppress ME if someone were to convince me District 9 is lame.

I'm a fan I guess. I mean I /enjoyed/ the movie. But being someone who is going into the film business as a career, I actually enjoy hearing "trash talk." More often then not it brings up a point I hadn't considered. I guess I only like Avatar for what it was intended to be: a pretty lookin' movie that makes buttloads of money. It achieved it's intentions so I guess that made it good. But I agree there were some... unfortunate incongruities. I know what you mean by distracting.

Oh well... I guess I could start ranting about the things I didn't like about Avatar XD I guess the principal is its lack of originality in my opinion. Creatures are great, but I've seen lots like them before, and the na'vi are just catgirls with Abe Sapien's color and stripes. I think they should've been more alien, but believe they didn't make them so partly because it would be "sick" to make a human character mate with a totally different creature, which I find silly 
The floating mountains are also kinda typical, though pretty, of course. The weird helicopter crafts are just like the hovering machines from terminator. The big carnivore's roar is not just similar to the T-Rex from Jurassic Park, it actually IS the roar from the T-Rex XDDD And the horse things' call is the velociraptor's. The main character is a complete gary-stu. He's a jackass, pretty unintelligent in many ways, but somehow ends up saving the entire na'vi race by becoming their leader, and he does that by showing up with the lamborgini of Pandora's rideable animals. Funny thing is, it has never occurred to the Na'vi that maaaaybe using a banshee to get on top of it and jumping onto it might work. Instead, there have only been FIVE toruk makto in AAAALL of the na'vi history. Also the signs. "seeds!! he's the chosen one!" It's always the chosen one, and the chosen one happens to be the most idiot of them all.
The bad guy has this supah cool scar. OOH where have I NOT seen that before? 
I dunno how much of this you had already noticed and chosen to ignore (which would be good cuz you could enjoy the movie more) but these thoughts come up as I watch the movie and... well, you know, distract me.
I admit there were some pretty aweinspiring moments that I myself am jealous of. The flight scene. And I do like the abundance of strong female characters, which are a rarity in hollywood movies. Mostly they're either honkies who wear high heels for going to fight or your typical damsel in distress. Yeek. Also kinda liked the fact that it was all very hippie-like, which is nice, even though we've seen that a lot as well (pocahontas, ferngully...), because it carries a message.
What I like best about the movie is actuall its soundtrack O__O I find it inspiring, emotive, enchanting and, well, I guess the african-indian sounding voices are also pretty typical, but I loved the tribal chanting in that made-up language and, let's face it, TRIBAL VOICES ARE JUST SO PRETTYYYY! mYEAH.

So I'm not the only one who was like "um.. T-Rex????" Yeah I thought the sounds were really uninventive. I mean, if your gonna go through all that trouble to make a new world, why would they have perfect human voices, or a stereotypical roar? Lol omg yeah they were all Abe Sapien-y hahaha hadn't connected that XD.
Apparently Tsu-tey's story was supposed to end a different way. In the original idea, he had his "queue" cut so he could no longer connect with Eywa and all. But in the end they thought it was too horrible to not only steal his girl from him, kill his mentor, demean his leadership, and then to cut him off from their deity and ancestors. Tsu-tey was my favorite character because he was flawed and therefore believable as a person. He should have been the leader, and Jake should have just been an adviser because he understands human tactics. He could still indirectly save the day that way but noooo.
Its interesting that you liked the hippie aspect. I liked it because I am fascinated by cultures like Native Americans, Aztecs, etc. But that was a big problem with some people. My parents hated it because they were all "Why is technology such a bad thing? Why is wearing grass and living on the ground so much bettteerrrr??!?!?" But I still liked it haha. I honestly think the game was better than the movie in some ways. I got it for PS3 for Christmas as my first (and only) console game I've ever had.
I so sowwy about your dragon. If you didnt live so far away I'd take him and find him a home at a college art display or something. D=

Yes!!! I was waiting to see what my brother, who watched it for the first the first time yesterday, would do when he heard that, and he totally had this face I lold from looking at him XD
Totally XD And yeah, the na'vi were TOO HUMANNNN! How could they have the same basic anatomy AND EVEN THE SAME BOOBS than a race from another planet?? Ñah!
Oh ya, another thing, that. It is Pocahontas even in Tsu-Tey aka Kokum XD I really DID like him as well, though. Plus I'm gonna call my kid Tsu-Tey. Purdy. He also reminded me A LOT of Wind in his Hair, from Dances with Wolves. Another clone XD It seems every little portion of Avatar reminds me of some other movie. Jake is SO MUCH like Eragon, lawl.
And hay, I would totally live in a desert island a month a year if I COULD! So yah, I do love nature^^ Except bugs... I need to work on those...
haven't even seen the gameplay. I thought the na'vi warrior in the poster was scary in the sense that it was Uh-GLEH! In my opinion

lol I HATED Eragon. Sorry if you liked it, but Saphira was so blehhh! how many fookin times did she say "You're a dragon rider, Eragon." My friend and I will quote her all the time like we said "your a Toruk Rider, Jakesully." and "That gun is a Banshee Killer!" (That sword is a dragon-killer.) No crap, Saphira, thats why he said he killed a dragon with it. XD Sorry makes me laugh so hard thinking about her.
I will say that it was really cool seeing a well-animated dragon. Though Dragonheart was way cooler. nomnom Draco.

Oh no, don't worry, I hated it as well XD The book is still the same old crap, basically Lord of the Rings meets Star Wars, but at least it was entertaining (second was BO-RING). It's the movie that's just too aweful for words. They spent all the budget in designing saphira, making and then taking her appart to re-build her all over again XD The idiots. That director ain't directing no more. It was a complete PHAIL. Lawl great crossover! It should totally be made into a comic strip!
OH YES YES YES DRAGONHEART IS TEN YEARS OLDER AND A HUNDRED TIMES BETTER THAN ERAGON TAKE THAT SAPHIRA DRACO WOULD KICK YOUR ROCKET ASS TO PANDORA!!! sigh. My friend and I drew a little sketch of Draco meeting Saphira. He was like:

Saphira walks up to him.
"I'm Sapheeerahh! This is my rider, Eragon. He's a dragon-rider. He rides me, his dragon, Saphira. Me. I'm wise and he's a stupid boy but we are a team!!"
Draco looks around, "On second thought... I think I'm better off on my own. Come on, Bowen. Can you believe that? She lets that little boy /ride/ her!"

I love sketches, always have, always will and yours are no exception! Some of the best work are those of a "work in progress" nature... It reveals the artist's thoughts, the process of which they achieve completion, and a quality of line and life in the spontaneity of the subject matter. Awesome! This makes me happy! Also, sketches are excellent sources of inspiration and it makes me want to start up some more sketch dumps myself.
