Edit: Holy shitkabobs on a dinner table! I can't believe the support and love I've been recieving for this comic! I wasn't expecting it and it's had me on a big fluffy cloud for a couple of days now! Thank you all so much!

I have spent too much time on this...
This was a result of a need to get the Mass Effect ending from my system. Funny thing is it took so long to make, I was pretty much over it half-way through XD Even funnier is I just cried a little right now
One of the jillion things that bothered me about this ending was that the characters most dear to me didn't even seem to be on Lara Shepard's mind. As explosions were going off, images of Joker, Anderson and... Liara? seem to flash before her eyes. I was kind of outraged. I absolutely love Joker and Anderson, but... Liara? She's great and all, but... No chance of Garrus's face to pop in her mind instead? They ARE in a relationship after all! HE VENTURED INTO THE IDEA OF HAVING KIDS, FOR F**K'S SAKE!
It's funny that everything else about that ending would pretty much make sense if we have in mind the popular Indoctrination Theory (which I'm all on board with), but this... this, haha, really bothered me
Somehow it's like Liara's friendship is forced down my throat a lot of times. No ofense to Liara fans, she's actually a great character, just not one I'm specially fond of. And I really just wanted to see Tali, and Garrus... and Mordin... and Legion and Wrex... one last time... *tear flood* So all this just added to the feeling that the ending could've been rushed and put together as quickly as possible.Hence this.

But seriously, you're an great artist for doing this. It's beautiful and very emotional - as seen from the audience's reactions - and totally matches the feeling I had when I played this part for the first time. Tissues. They were needed.

(Taken verbatim from TV Tropes/Death Seeker) It is implied throughout the entire game that the times have worn Shepard down to becoming a Death Seeker. With so many deaths and so many more lives resting on his/her shoulders, he/she seems to be running solely on the fact that no one else can do his/her job. By the end of the game, he/she seems accepting of, even welcoming his/her death, and a line in the control ending made by the intelligence formed from the sacrificed Shepard seems to drive the point home.

I just can't help think that the Starchild totally pulled our chains with this. He said Shepard would die with this option, but she CAN survive. So that is MY ending XD Choose red, break out of indoctrination, wake up and have a party with all your organic and synthetic friends.

You seriously just made me cry. Between the music that you suggested and then reading this in order...I just...I couldn't even. I started crying right then and there. Oh god, it just...I can't even. This series has become such an integral part of my life and I love what you've done here. It is such a moving little comic and absolutely breath-taking. I love your style as well; you really pulled off the characters.
I keep replaying this series to get new options, etc. Though I can never have that one person die in the first game (I don't want to mention spoilers for people).
