Edit: Holy shitkabobs on a dinner table! I can't believe the support and love I've been recieving for this comic! I wasn't expecting it and it's had me on a big fluffy cloud for a couple of days now! Thank you all so much!

I have spent too much time on this...
This was a result of a need to get the Mass Effect ending from my system. Funny thing is it took so long to make, I was pretty much over it half-way through XD Even funnier is I just cried a little right now
One of the jillion things that bothered me about this ending was that the characters most dear to me didn't even seem to be on Lara Shepard's mind. As explosions were going off, images of Joker, Anderson and... Liara? seem to flash before her eyes. I was kind of outraged. I absolutely love Joker and Anderson, but... Liara? She's great and all, but... No chance of Garrus's face to pop in her mind instead? They ARE in a relationship after all! HE VENTURED INTO THE IDEA OF HAVING KIDS, FOR F**K'S SAKE!
It's funny that everything else about that ending would pretty much make sense if we have in mind the popular Indoctrination Theory (which I'm all on board with), but this... this, haha, really bothered me
Somehow it's like Liara's friendship is forced down my throat a lot of times. No ofense to Liara fans, she's actually a great character, just not one I'm specially fond of. And I really just wanted to see Tali, and Garrus... and Mordin... and Legion and Wrex... one last time... *tear flood* So all this just added to the feeling that the ending could've been rushed and put together as quickly as possible.Hence this.

Awww... *offers tissue* I know I know... I have replayed the series several times, and I have even tried complete opposites just to be completionist, but there are some things I just can't... It hurts too much.

*Takes tissue and wipes eyes* Agreed; some things I seriously cannot do (like getting the achievement for having Ashley in your team for like 75% of the first game or whatever), or other heart-wrenching moments. I just did a Thane romance for the second game [it was so hard to say no to Garrus, bwahah] and I'm gonna cry during the third one, I just know it.

There's an achievement for Ashley?? Pft. Is there an achievement for having Garrus on your team 100% of the time? XDDD I once attempted to romance someone else but... the main battery called to me.

There is. In the first game only, there is an achievement for having each character on your team for 90% of the mission, I think.
Haha, yeah, it nearly killed me to romance Thane. I adore his character and I don't regret the romance, but it was so hard not to pursue Garrus.

This is... very intense comic panels, all of them, all the pages, the color, texture and expression... I got to say... that's how you end a game series. There is a lot of finesse in how you presented this. Really digs into the human connection with all the interaction with each of the characters, and presents a real feeling of overcoming a horrible obstacle and a true victory, if not with out great cost and sacrifice, but with a touch of hope of all the love from everyone who got you there. Damn. T_T A lot of tears from this. This is going to be with me for the rest of my life.
