This is what happens when I have no real inspiration. I end going into my comfort zone: drawing faces. Faces everywhere. But damn if it's not satisfactory...
So. Here's Lara Shepard with her space boyfriendo, looking awesome. I referenced the shit out of these guys, though there's also a lot of improvisation.
My shep has been "bald" since ME1, and I would've changed it if only there'd been a curly hair option, because the texture of that hair was frizzy as hell. And Lara is NOT about to go carrying a hair-straightener around on every mission.
This is her actual long hair, tied back into a comfy, practical braid.
Man I love them...

Apologies that it took FOREVER but I just wanted to know that with many thanks, your piece here is now up in our albums on Mass Effect Female Shepard (facebook page). It is now here: www.facebook.com/FemShep/photo⦠- I asked Admin2 to add it for me whilst I take a break. This time of year (well from February through to June now) but particularly this next week is very difficult for me and I had a dire need to stay away from anything that might trigger an emotional response.
I've learned that when you're already feeling emotional about something, anything that provokes an emotional response always winds up getting a stronger response than it should - especially if it's a bad thing! So... I'm withdrawing from the world for a little while.
I just wanted to let you know in case she hadn't (actually she may well have done already) that your piece is now up.

Hahah that's actually one of the reasons I named her Lara XD It sounded feminine enough without being girly, and with Lara Croft as model she would certainly be a tough bastardette. But also, my name is Laura.

Oh, I see, well then you made your Shepard very personal. I totally suck at names myself so I simply name my Shepards according to their classes. Like INa for Infiltrator, lol. Easy to remember who's who at least.
