Description
Update: I never liked the shading I had done for this guy. He's grown to be one of my current favorites but I didn't feel like doing a new ref. I just fixed some of the grayscaling now that I know how it works a little better. He'll get a new ref when he is HESWA.Ebenezer has finally grown into his overgrown heart. He's still full of himself and the hottest horse currently on Shekinah Valley's acres. His energy is boundless, his spirit as red hot as his coat. He is certainly a prize and hopefully soon a contestant in the show ring.
While he's been growing, it seems his birdcatcher spots have grown as well. They seem to be different each season so we aren't sure if they will increase or even start to go away. I guess we will see!
Thank you again :blackglassbutterfly: for gifting us with this beautiful boy for Christmas!
Name: Ebenezer Snow
Breed: Irish Sport Horse
Gender: Stallion
Age: 5
Height: 16.3
Color: Bay
Markings: Blaze with tall stocking on front left, small white cornet on rear right. So far, semi heavy birdcatcher spots on both shoulder
Genetics:Ee/Aa/nBc
Passible Traits: Personality 70% - Height 50% - Spots 15%
Personality: This boy has legs for running, hopping, skipping, jumping, danceing, and everything else he can possibly do. His energy is boundless and he knows it and puts it to the limit, racing back and forth in the yearling pasture. He easily out paces all of the other yearlings who share his quarters and he streaks past them with tail raised. Totally full of himself. But what red hot rod isn't?

Artists Comments:
My second attempt at grayscale and I just butchered it. I ended up just layering the grayscale layer multiple times and erasing the different colors to get what I wanted. I'm not doing a great job learning this stuff but I got the effect I wanted for this guy. Only, I messed up and used my grayscale base so I cant reuse it without some difficultly getting the level back the way I want it. But I will try perhaps, I have too many youngsters to grow to draw them all. But I want to, but there's is only 1 week for spring break. We'll see what I end up doing.

Hahaha! He is big and he is beautiful! I hope the spots expanding is okay with you. I couldn't help myself. I couldn't resist the fantasy of seeing this flaming red bay boy in a dressage arena with "snow" draping his shoulders. What do you think, should they grow less when he is older? (Older like much older, when he retires, which he is far from.)

I think the older he gets the more he should have! I mean, he is named Ebenezer Snow.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with the greyscale You'll get there and find a method that works for you in the end. This turned out wonderfully anyway despite the problems, I like the variation in the coat!
