Hope and Savanna always wanted to vacation on the Eastern shore. When they heard about a new adoption auction going on for the famous Chincoteague ponies, they just had to take a cross country drive over to see what they could find. The listened to the entire series of Marguerite Henry's Chincoteague pony books on cd. All in all it was a wonderful trip for them.

When they got there, the first foal that caught there eye was a smokey cream colt that got into everything! He almost had a crab hanging off his nose, but he was too smart to let that happen. They decided he would be the one they would try to bring home.

Chincoteague foal adoption!!! Soooo cute! I just hope I finished this in time, I'm having to do all nighters for a TNT tent fund raiser for the 4th (church youth group thing) so there's not intnernets there to upload! But I'll tell you a funny story real quick-I had to rush home for a moment, leaving the hubby all alone in the TNT tent on guard duty while I ran home JUST to upload this... Wes Anyway, I hope we get him. His name is not ment to be ghetto or anything-Podunk means "small in size or middle of nowhere." I live in a "podunk" town-Po comes from a "podunk" island. I love it. This guy is going to have an awesome role at sVa if we get him.

He is a bit slow and takes his time doing things-not rambunctious at all.
