Description
A closer view of The Friar (Friaren, or SkageflΓ₯fossen), a lone waterfall sitting across from the famed Seven Sisters (Syv SΓΈstre) on the Geiranger Fjord (Geirangerfjorden) in Norway. Legend has it that the Friar is trying to woo the sisters across the fjord. And that is why he is positioned where he is as he tries to make his move...While this waterfall doesn't have as many columns as the sisters across the way nor does it possess their height, it does have lots of volume. When a cruise ship passes before this waterfall, you could easily feel the mist from the falls. (Photo taken by my hubby ~sayh .)Related content
