Description
Pencil sketch commission for ~Pardus , of his kookaburra-winged, two-tailed, African leopard playfully rolling and stretching in the snow, whilst daring you to give him a tummy rub. (Come on, you know you want to...He may disembowel you, but that's just the risk you'll have to take...Resistance is futile, you know.)Note: This pose nearly killed me! I don't know if leopards can twist themselves into pretzels like kitties can--see my refs--but it was a fun challenge to draw! And he looks a bit fluffy because my leopard refs were Amurs...But I guess any leopard living in Norway would have to be a bit fluffier than normal in the wintertime.

I think my official response will be; SQUEEE!
I love it. The picture is just awesome. Really well made, and so cute.
I see I forgot about to mention a couple of minor things about the character, but I don't care.
I would assume that leopards may be more of a solid, as opposed to the viscous nature of housecats. But after seeing the result here, I hereby deem it possible for Felix to "pretzel" XD
Now where is that bellyrub??? XD

P.S. And forgot the stripe on the tail too, ack! Looking over different pics of you, some show you having white forepaws and black hindpaws, and some have all the paws black, and some have both white toes and black toes, so I'm not sure which is the most current and preferred look?

There has been some changes, but not in the later years (kinda).
In that form the front paws are all black to the wrists, and the hindpaws are black to the ankles.
And there is the stripe from between the ears down to the black tailtips.
It wouldn't be right to have you put even more work into this. I'll save the nitpicking for the next time ;3

Hehe, so glad you like it! And yeah, I realized after I'd already scanned it that I forgot to color your middle toes black. I can go back and add that to the original, if you'd like.

I always wonder how cats do this...
Maybe they just have liquid-spines like ferrets

Actually cats have as many vertebrae in their spine as humans do (though this is also counting their tail) so maybe this makes them more flexible?
