is this one a scan too? or with a macro lens? do you put the flowers on a normal scanner? it doesnt look like the other scanned ones. its beautiful though, the water droplets are just right and the colour is spectacular. how do you get it so perfect? and the black background.

I absolutely love the intense red in this - and together with the black it gets really cool, and somehow it just seems so elegant, even though it's not the first flower I would associate with that word. I completely fell in love with this piece. When I get around to ordering my prints, this will definitely be among those I buy. It's so beautiful...

I don't think I'd ever seen anyone else but me who uses their flatbed scanner instead of a macro lens! So much fun... you can scan almost *anything*!

Oah yes...thank you very much!!! I am finally bringing my printer over here to our apartment after the hurricane pases. Even though we aren't going to take a direct hit from the eye, we are under flood advisories and a tropical storm warning until at least late Saturday.

great image the only things i can suggest are just anal
like:
the image could be cleaned up abit there are specs here and there scattered around the image.
there is a scan line down the left hand side of the image
and finally i think the border is good but i feel the grey takes away from the image as it is a bland colour while your colour composition is strong black and a vibrant red.
so those are the technical things

I was using a different gamma (accidentally) and hence couldnt see the spcks and scanner line, corrected it now
and, then, I even had to change the spelling from 'provacation' to 'provocation'
