Description
I am so pleased at how well those wing panels turned outThe next addition to the Vampyre line is the Interceptor, just a cross between the Vampyre Starfighter and the TIE Interceptor, but I think it looks fantastic

You should make these into actual sets and sell them.

I don't have the kind of time or funding that I'd need to arrange my own kits, but I did submit it to the Lego Ideas site, where I think it gathered a total of 70/10,000 votes... So, yeah, it didn't do very well . I couldn't have included this model in the set anyway as it was based on a Star Wars design which would have caused all manner of copyright issues.

Awesome Β It would be great to see this model here in full 3d - you could upload it to Sketchfab, and then embed it in full 3D in your journal here on DA:Β sketchfab-3d.deviantart.com/joβ¦.

I gave it a try, but your site doesn't support Lego Digital Designer (.lxf) or POVRay (.pov) files .

True, we can't offer raytracing for free with Povray Lego is interesting, I've been experimenting with Bricksmith. Can your tools export to other file formats? We support 28 file types, so there's a good chance one of them might work.

I did manage to get it to work by exporting from Lego Digital Designer to LeoCAD (.ldr), then from LeoCAD to 3DStudio (.3ds), but unfortunately quite a few pieces go missing in the process, it looks like LeoCAD doesn't have the complete set of parts that the model needs. It's a step in the right direction though .

I did some tests with the LDraw add-on for Blender. It lets you manage your own parts library, so you can add non-standard parts to it as well. Maybe that helps?
