not too happy with my newish camera which is a pain to get to focus. complaints aside here is spartan B-117, i basically stole Jun's colours for the repaint. cant see it in this picture but i managed to paint a lizard on the left leg armor which didnt turn out too badly.spartan: B-117

armor set: recon helmet, HP/HALO chest and Hazop left shoulder
i like the idea of the confusion having a spartan III with the 117 call number especially the beta company. its the back up master chief.

It's a pretty nice composition but I think you know what the issue is here. It's mostly due to the camera as you mentioned not picking things up properly and unfocusing. There isn't a lot of clarity with this picture but it's also due to the values from the light source. Most of what we see is toned down and dark to the point that it's hard to make out the torso and leg area. The cast shadow is a nice touch but the main light source is lacking overall. Try experimenting with artificial light sources!
