Description
Here is what has been my latest obsession since the last update to Vega, stage 2 ProjectX. (made with fresh resources, the original ProjectX was not recycled)--------------------------------------------------
Download includes:
-Visual Style - any version of Windows Vista (32bit or 64bit)
-browseui.dll - requires 32bit Vista w/SP1
-and shell32.dll - requires 32bit Vista w/SP1
-Installation Instructions
After applying the Visual Style, set your color to "Graphite" and your color intensity control to about 5-10% (real low). The reason is even though the borders are made black, Vista still adds a very slight tint to the default color.

Thanks, it looks sweet now! Do you know how sweatyfish got Google Chrome all gray though? I downloaded a few black themes but parts of Chrome were still blue i.e. bookmark bar.

For Google Chrome gray, I posted it in my journal. I personally like "Rein" for Firefox theme.

Another good looking skin, do you think you would be able to create the ieframe.dll to match the browseui.dll. I hate when I bring up internet explorer and the buttons don't match the rest of the theme. Great work though going to

for some reason i cant get the browseui.dll file to be patched. i've tried usin the take control program and ive went into safe mode but still no luck

Actually, I manage to just find it now. But I can't apply it.
It is probably that I didn't copy the dll files first. I tried before, but my vista won't let me modify my system32 files.

I can't seem to apply the theme. I clicked every single "Windows Aero" and it is not there. I copied it into the theme folder already.

Check your folder structure for the theme folder and make sure you have system files patched via VistaGlazz or some other means. Other than that, it should work.

Excellent Visual, the Back-Forward Buttons are nothing like I have seen before, I had to input that change right away.
One question:
On the desktop when you mouse over an icon you get that highlight-Is there anyway to tweak that to be more glass like.

nicely done, deserves a fav, even though i won't be using it. Never had much luck changing the DLLs to make the browse.ui work.... always seems to make me need to re-install....
