Just a little fanart for one of my favorite artists here on dA. ;DI've alwaysalwaysALWAYS wanted to draw 'kita somethin'. She was one of the first people I watched when coming here to dA 5 years ago, and her art has always inspired me. I looked at every piece of art she posted, I read almost every single journal she updated, and just something about her made me want to improve my art. <3
I always wanted to draw her a piece of fanart, I even sketched something, but I was always too shy to do so. So, today, I figured... What the hell, might as well. xD
And frankly, i'm pleased with the outcome, and I had a blast drawing it up and coloring it. C: I. Love. SAI. Period.

And awww, thank you so much for the kind words ;__; It really means a lot that my art alone was enough to motivate and inspire somebody, it's amazing to me that my art could do that haha

I had really fun with her pose, actually. |D I saw your new ref sheet and all the lazy dog poses, and I was like '.... I wanna draw that'. THUS I DID. XD
And it's not a problem at all. <3 You really have inspired me to get better, I remember just staring at your art and studying it's anatomy. XD

It's a biiiit nerveracking. I rarely ever do fanart, I feel like such a little brown-noser, or like i'm trying to suck up to the artist. xD Or just beg for art, in an offhand way. And that's not the case. >>;
